Brian’s Background
My path to healing and introspection began in my twenties. I considered myself an emotional wasteland full of grief, anger, and fear. No longer able to suppress the pain and sadness, and recognizing the toll it was taking on my life, I was finally willing to do whatever it took to heal and grow.
I discovered the Mankind Project in 2009. The Mankind Project opened my heart and showed me a strength that was inside me that I never would have believed. After 15 years of personal growth work, numerous trainings, workshops, and leadership roles, I find myself in a place of strength, openness, inquisitiveness, and gratitude.
My life’s mission is to co-create a world of peace, love, and strength by being an open, loving, supporting student of life.
I am filled with joy as I continue to grow and heal along with those around me.
I identify as an introvert and consider myself a “Champion for Introverts.” I understand the struggles introverts have with speaking up for themselves, asking for help, or saying and doing what they want. As a result, some introverts feel shame and regret that they didn’t do or say what they wanted. As we grow, we can learn ways to step through our fear, stand and speak up for ourselves in an authentic, gratifying way. Introverts do not need to become extroverts. Whether you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert, we all can find a balance to get what we want while honoring who we are.
